TECHNOLOGY AND SPORTS STARS UNITE
Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have come to stay, and several companies are implementing them as part of their marketing and communications strategies. f Sports Group and Khora have entered into an exciting collaboration, the context of which is that both parties want to create something exceptional and different for companies. By using modern technology and combining it with the most prominent sports stars, unique possibilities are created where only the imagination sets limits. This can help increase companies’ growth and create extraordinary experiences for consumers.
“Sport is great for connecting people and creating relationships. We hope we can bring some of the magic of the sport into technological reality. There are endless possibilities for VR and AR, and these are magical ways to transport people to places they cannot normally get to and give them experiences which are not otherwise possible in the real world. It will make a lot of sense for brands to combine new forms of communication like VR and AR with athletes who people look up to. This will create a strong synergy between new technology and elite athletes. It is an opportunity in which we see a huge potential,”
says co-founder and CEO of Khora, Simon Lajboschitz.
Khora is a leading Scandinavian virtual reality and augmented reality production studio in Copenhagen. The company has won several awards in marketing and in the last five years they have prepared 200+ new projects for their clients. They continually explore the endless possibilities within VR and AR and test these with their many partners.
f Sports Group is very much looking forward to the exciting collaboration and to connecting sports stars even closer to the individual consumer. Mads H. Frederiksen, CEO f Sports Group, says:
““We have long wanted to create something unique for our partners and clients. In this day and age all people have a form of technology that they use in their daily lives. You see more and more companies and famous stars getting custom filters, for example, on Instagram. The great thing about VR and AR is that they can be tailored to an individual product, person, or company. The product immediately gains different credibility by pairing VR and AR with sports stars. Most people have stars they aspire to and look up to. This is an obvious opportunity for companies to strengthen their marketing and differentiate themselves from their competitors".
Khora has the technology and f Sports Group has the sports stars. Both parties are looking forward to getting started with the collaboration and creating unique projects in cooperation with their partners.
