NORDIC BATTLE 2024 - CASPER RUUD VS HOLGER RUNE

On the 3rd of December a true tennis thriller was played in Royal Arena between two of the best tennis players in the world. Norwegian Casper Ruud and Danish Holger Rune gave all the spectators a real show and confirmed why they are in the top of the ATP-rankings. Before the match in Royal Arena the two met in Casper Ruud's home country Norway in Varner Arena, making the match in Copenhagen the decisive in regards to who the real Viking of the North is. It was a close call, but Holger Rune ended up claiming the Nordic honor and took home the trophy.

    We had fantastic viewing numbers on Denmark's National TV channel DR during the live transmission with almost 400,000 unique viewers, which in comparison is the same level as when Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic played the Paris 2024 Olympics tennis final.

    The general media coverage has been phenomenal, and besides the sponsor activations and interaction across all platforms, the players actively promoted the event, its partners and sponsors to their millions of fans and across their social media.
