Kevin Magnussen is a professional Danish F1 racing driver. He is currently driving for the American team Haas F1 Team.

Magnussen’s racing career began at a young age as his talent became evident early on and quickly he rose through the ranks. He started his professional career in 2008, where he became part of the Formula Ford Championship in Denmark, winning 11 of the 15 races he competed in. This impressive achievement resulted in him winning the Championship.

In 2012 Magnussen made his way into the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, ending the 2012 season in 7th place. He had an amazing 2013 season with five victories, eight podium places and eight pole positions, making him champion of the 2013 season.

In 2014 Magnussen had his debut in the biggest motorsport race in the world, Formula 1. He was driving for McLaren and with his debut, he really showed his fantastic driving skills, coming in as no. 2 at the Australian Grand Prix race. This is his best result to date. For his 2016 season, he drove for Renault, but in 2017 he yet again signed with Team Haas and drove for the team for three years, before going in another direction with his career.

From 2021 and to 2022 Magnussen signed with Cadillac Racing and Chip Ganassi, racing in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He also raced alongside his father Jan Magnussen for the prestigious 24 Hours Le Mans.

In 2022 Magnussen made a surprising comeback to Formula 1, when he returned to team Haas F1.
