In 2015 Dolberg made his international debut, when he signed a three-year contract with the Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax. It was the same scout that spotted Zlatan Ibrahimović and Christian Eriksen for the Dutch club. In 2019 he signed the contract with OGC Nice and had an incredible first season. In 2021 Kasper Dolberg was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and shortly after became an important brand ambassador for the Danish medical company Novo Nordisk, who produces i.a. insulin for diabetics. He is showing all and especially young people with the same diagnosis, that it’s perfectly realistic to live an active life, despite the chronic disease.
