JOSEPHINE SKRIVER

Josephine Skriver is one of the greatest top models in the world. She was spotted in New York when she was 15 years old and signed with the Danish agency Unique Models afterwards. She has since walked for many of the major fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Prada, Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. She has currently walked over 300 shows.

She walked the Victoria’s Secret fashion show for the first time in 2013 and in 2016 she became one of the official Angels, until the concept ended in 2021. She was the second Dane to sign a contract with the world-famous brand. She has also posed for Sports Illustrated and was nominated ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2020. From 2018-2021 she was the face of the makeup brand Maybelline.

In 2016 Josephine started an Instagram account with her good friend and fellow Victoria’s Secret  model Jasmine Tookes, a community called JOJA. JOJA addresses to people who love combining friendships and an active lifestyle. The community is a huge success and in February 2022, Josephine and Jasmine launched their first collection of activewear. The inspiration of the design came from their own experience and feedback from the community.

Josephine Skriver comes from an LGBTQIA+ family and this topic is very important to her and  something she is eager to create awareness about. In 2014 she became an ambassador for the Family Equality Council and in 2022 for PlanBørnefonden Denmark.
