KASPER HJULMAND & SIMCORP

In April 2022 SimCorp held their IUCM flagship event, which was a global client event and the largest gathering of the SimCorp community.

It was held in Nice, France, at the Palais de Acropolis. In addition to the general client event, they also held the IUCM Executive Stream, an invitation-only senior executive programme. The Executive Stream was for 60+ senior executives from all areas of investment management and the programme included keynote speeches from prominent business leaders.

One of the prominent keynote speakers was manager of for the Danish national football team Kasper Hjulmand. He attended two sessions, one of them was for 75 leaders where he discussed leadership including personal experiences, conflict management, diversity, and inclusion. The other session he attended was as keynote speaker for approx. 800 people where he talked about modern leadership, teamwork, and motivation.

As manager for the Danish national team Kasper Hjulmand knows the importance of great leadership and to keep your team motivated. In football it’s very important that the whole team contributes and that everybody takes ownership of their individual tasks. Only in that way the team can succeed. If you look at the impressive results the Danish national team has achieved it’s safe to say that Kasper Hjulmand knows what he is talking about. That was also why he was the obvious choice for f Sports Group when they recommended him as a possibility for a keynote speaker for the IUCM flagship event.

It’s also a great example on how leaders in sport can inspire leaders in other industries and how they can incorporate methods from the sport industry in their work life and gain profit from it. Good leadership and motivational managers are key in every industry.
